Free Consultation
Whether you are a newly engaged couple planning to marry in two years' time, or the proud parents of a future Bride or Groom, it's always a good idea to get some expert advice.

At Cherished Events, that expert advice is completely free of charge. I will meet with you at the time and location of your choice to discuss your hopes, dreams and concerns about your wedding – and, of course, to come up with ways to make those hopes a reality, and save you time, money and stress!

Your consultation is completely free, and you're under absolutely no obligation. Once we've met, I'll send you a proposal for your big day, including some design details for your theme or style (all based around your own ideas, desires and personality), the approximate cost of your wedding, and the fee to book Cherished Events, should you decide to use my services.

On the Day Coordination
Full wedding design and planning is not for everyone. Many Brides and Grooms enjoy organising their own wedding, putting a great deal of time and effort into making sure their day is spectacular.

However, even the best laid plans can go wrong, and the last thing you want to be doing on your wedding day is smoothing out any last-minute hiccups and making sure things run like clockwork.

My On the Day Coordination service gives you the peace of mind of knowing that someone is on hand to make sure your dreams are realised, and to allow you to simply enjoy your vision of perfection!

We will meet approximately 4 weeks before your wedding date for a detailed consultation, during which we will go through all the arrangements that have been made. The purpose of this meeting is to make sure I understand how you envision your big day, and what is important to you for your wedding.

After our meeting I will draw up a detailed schedule for your approval, outlining the running order and timings (including who needs to be where, and when!) and the duties you need me to oversee for the day.

You will then be free to fully enjoy your day, safe in the knowledge that I'm working hard to ensure that the suppliers carry out your wishes, the reception is decorated to your requirements, the guests are seated according to your plan, and that everyone is enjoying the occasion, with any problems being dealt with swiftly and discreetly.

Partial Planning and Coordination
Your big day is drawing near: suddenly you begin to feel overwhelmed by the time constraints, and the pressure of contacting and coordinating several different suppliers. Many Brides and Grooms find that they need extra assistance and support in these final weeks: even if you've felt very organised up until now, the weeks leading up to the wedding will be your busiest yet, with final payments and fitting, pre-wedding consultations, hotel and transport bookings, and last minute suppliers to find. No wonder you need some extra support!

The build–up to your wedding should be something you enjoy: having an expert to deal with the details leaves you free to do just that.

After an in-depth consultation at a time and location convenient to you both, I will draw up your own personal wedding day countdown detailing what needs to be done and when. I will then oversee the final arrangements for you, carrying out necessary administrative tasks and liasing with all suppliers to confirm your requirements. I'll also make sure everyone has directions to the venue, gather emergency contact details and make any travel or dietary arrangements on your guests' behalf.

This package also includes unlimited e-mail and advice so that you, your bridal party and your guests have an expert to call upon at any time for information, assistance or reassurance.

I will also attend your wedding to ensure that everything is perfect on the day. Please see On the Day Coordination for further information.

Finally, when the wedding is over, I'll arrange to carry out all of those essential tasks, such as returning cake stands and suits or arranging for your dress to be dry-cleaned or your bouquets preserved.

Full Planning and Design
Planning a wedding is not for the faint hearted. The average wedding takes 250 hours to plan, and for the, majority of couples, those 250 hours are spent trawling the internet every evening, trying to make frantic phone calls from work, and meeting with suppliers on weekends off.

Before you know it, planning your wedding has become just another chore, and what should be an exciting time is transformed into everyday drudgery.

This is your special day: a day you'll remember all your life; a day that captures your personalities and reflects the love you feel for each other. You don't want to turn your wedding into yet another source of stress, worrying about how much there is to do, and how little time there is to do it. You should be enjoying each other’s company, relaxing and looking forward to your big day.

To enable you to do just this I offer a complete planning and design service, which will ensure that you get the wedding you want – without the arduous task of organising it!

Consultation:
After an initial consultation I will create a proposal encompassing your aspirations, ideas and budget. If you accept my proposal I will then create an inspiration board of colours, fabrics, textures and images to illustrate the look of your wedding. This will provide a basis from which to work out the style and theme for your day. I will then source the suppliers, accessories and any little extras that will allow us to realise this vision.

Planning:
Throughout the planning stages I will remain in contact with both yourselves and your chosen suppliers, with regular phone calls and e-mail updates. Throughout the planning process I provide unlimited e-mail support to you and your bridal party, and once the invitations have gone out I can also act as a point of contact for guests. I will undertake all the administrative duties your wedding creates, and, if required, I can also manage the sending of invitations and the collating of RSVPs.

Hen and Stag parties, bridal showers and rehearsal dinners can also be organised if required.

On the Day:
On your wedding day itself I will be on hand constantly to ensure that the meticulous planning is realised through venue décor and supplier supervision. Every detail will be taken care of to create the stunning look you wanted and to ensure that your day is perfect.

After the Event:
Once your wedding is over, my assistance doesn’t stop. I can ensure that all hired items are returned, arrange transport to and from the airport, send your bouquet to be preserved and your dress to be cleaned. I can also organise your thank you cards and send cake to absent guests.
